Essentials Guitars

The Essentials is an effort to make a more affordable hand built guitar. This is done by:

1. Removing custom options.
2. Simplifying the trim package (no purfling except on the top; simpler rosette).
3. Applying a satin lacquer to the top and an oil finish to the rest of the guitar.

You still get the same craftsmanship, bracing, voicing, and setup. An essentials guitar will usually have a less familiar alternative tonewood on the back and sides. The top may also be a lower visual grade but will still meet the same quality sound standard. Essentials guitars are noted as such on the label inside the guitar. Current price is $4000.
